Ivel Valley School
The Problem
After the appointment of a new head, Ivel Valley were looking to make a strong statement about the new ideas and vision of the school. They wanted to communicate their plans to establish themselves as a centre of excellence and engage with the local community and wider world.
Ivel Valley’s previous website was a major problem in achieving this as it was dated, difficult to navigate and wasn’t updated regularly.
Our Approach
We started the process by asking lots of questions about the school, their values and goals, what makes them special and how they wanted to be seen by the outside world.
Once we’d established what the new site should achieve, we moved on to design a very modern looking site which uses great photography to put the school and students centre stage.
We also made sure that the site looked great on mobile devices and clearly prioritised key information & contact details in the design.
The Result
Feedback from the school and parents after the new site launched has been very positive, and the WordPress content management system has made it very easy for school staff to update the site which they now do on a regular basis.
